In conjunction with my appearance on The Roundtable with Joe Donohue tomorrow September 12 at 11:35 AM on WAMC Northeast Public Radio (listen in on your radio or online; visit www.wamc.org for details), copies of Making the Grade (Expendable Man Publishing, 2012) will be available in Kindle format for free from the Amazon website tomorrow and Thursday.
If you haven’t read Making the Grade or my previous novel, The Expendable Man (Expendable Man Publishing, 2011), this is your chance to find out if you enjoy my writing style.
Making the Grade is a police procedural, involving Shannon Lynch, who has just been promoted as the first female detective on the Albany (NY) Police Force. Shannon runs into a number of problems including resistance from the ‘good old boys’ on the force and two men from her past. You’ll have to read the book to find out whether she has what it takes to “make the grade?”
